Not taking the time to figure out what social networking is all about would be just stupid. Many are realizing that networking in this form is "word of mouth" recommendations through the web.
More and more folks are joining these cool social networking sites and communities to be a part of this amazing trend. Do you think that people who like being a part of this cool trend are really understanding their importance to online marketing? Probably not. They network because they are social. They are helping their online friends find interesting things, better products, etc. Site that sound very cool are the ones that they will bookmark. They don't necessarily promote websites for the sake of helping companies with Internet marketing.
